Angelo Moriondo invented the espresso machine. The Espresso Machine works by the use of a combination of steam and boiling water to effectively brew coffee by forcing pressurized water near the boiling point to produce a concentrated coffee.

Angelo Moriondo was born in Turin, Kingdom of Sardinia, Italy, on June 6, 1851, and died in Marentino, Italy, on May 31, 1914, hence, he died at the age of 62 years. Angelo Moriondo was very visionary but could not make his invention on an industrial scale.
