Aaron Boone is the manager of the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball. He is an American baseball manager and former infielder (MLB).

From 1997 through 2009, he spent 13 seasons in Major League Baseball. Boone’s most famous season as a player came with the Yankees in 2003, when he was an All-Star and hit the game-winning walk-off home run in the American League Championship Series.

Boone was a guest analyst for MLB Network during the 2009 American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Did Aaron Boone play with Derek Jeter?

Aaron Boone was Derek Jeter’s teammate for half of the 2003 season. In an interview with the New York Post, Boone stated  “I’ve always thought of him as a tremendous player,” “When I first arrived in New York and played with him, I often tell people, ‘He was better than I thought he was.’ He’s the most self-assured player I’ve ever encountered.
