There had been a special Platinum Jubilee Paddington Bear sketch, in which the Queen shared marmalade sandwich storage chat with Paddington Bear, on Saturday at the Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen had impressed everyone with her acting chops in a video. The clip showed Paddington Bear meet with the Queen for an afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace.
“Perhaps you would like a marmalade sandwich?”, Paddington Bear had asked the Queen. “I always keep one for emergencies.”

The Queen then replies: “So do I… I keep mine in here”, she says as she brings out her own marmalade sandwich from her handbag.
“For later”, she added.
The bear doffs his hat in reverence to the monarch and says: “Happy Jubilee, and thank you for everything.”
A statement from the Buckingham Palace read:
“Her Majesty is well known for her sense of humour, so it should be no surprise that she decided to take part in tonight’s sketch”.
