Polish professional tennis player Iga Swiatek was born on 31 May 2001 in Warsaw to Dorota and Tomasz Świątek.

Iga’s father Tomasz is quite popular as he is a former rower who competed in the men’s quadruple sculls event at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
