Ostapenko won the singles event at the junior Wimbledon Championships and was ranked the No. 2 junior tennis player in the world in September 2014 and made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the Tashkent Open, having been awarded a wildcard.
Ostapenko won the 2017 French Open singles title, becoming the first player from Latvia to win a Grand Slam singles tournament and the first unseeded player to win the French Open since 1933.
Ostapenko has won seven singles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
