Today marks the first day of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Queen of England, as she celebrates 7 decades on the royal throne.

On the balcony, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, 86, was spotted with the Queen, as they receive the honour displayed by the military peagants, Ist Batallion and Irish Guards.

Prince Edward dazzled in his military attire and stood next to the Queen who was clad in a pale blue coat dress and hat, holding a cane and with shaded specs.

During the second appearance, the Queen was flanked by Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla; Prince William and Duchess Kate and their three children; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence; the Countess Sophie and their two teenage children, James, Viscount Severn, and Lady Louise Windsor.
