Giancarlo is the voice behind Akela in the Disney work ‘The Jungle Book’. He also wrote and co-produced the series ‘The Mandalorian’. And in Godfather of Harlem (2019), he plays the role of a New York politician.

Giancarlo went ahead to star in several films such as Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo’ Better Blues (1990), Malcolm X (1992), Taps (1981), King of New York (1990), Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991), Fresh (1994), and many others.

Giancarlo won the award of Best Supporting Actor at the Critics’ Choice Television Award and was nominated three times for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the Primetime Emmy Award.
