How Did Uvalde Shooter Die?

Ramon Salvador, the killer of the 21 victims at Robb Elementary School, Texas, died after a specialized tactical team arrived on the scene and fatally shot him..

Ramon had dropped a bag loaded with ammunition outside of the school premises on the day he launched the attack.

He had gained entrance into the school and shieled himself behind a classroom block as he fired shots at the victims inside – 19 children and two teachers.

The first set of officers could not get to Ramon easily because he was behind a block and inside the classroom. In addition, there was no sufficient back up at that time.

The officers began a rescue operation immediately, breaking the windows and moving children and teachers out of the school.

Fortunately, a specialized tactical team who had arrived broke through the classroom and killed Ramon on the spot.

Although an officer was shot but he survived the injuries

Reports shiwed that Ramon had been in the premises for up to an hour before he was eventually killed.

A closer look at his rifles showed that they were manufactured by Daniel Defense, located in Ramon’s high school.
