Husband died of heart attack Texas

Irma Garcia was one of the 21 people killed on Tuesday by the 18-year-old gunman who walked into the Uvalde, Texas school with a rifle and began shooting. Nineteen children and Garcia’s co-teacher, Eva Mireless, were also killed.

A GoFundMe campaign posted by Irma Garcia’s cousin said Irma’s husband passed on Thursday morning of a medical emergency.

The cousin wrote that “I truly believe Joe died of a broken heart and losing the love of his life for more than 25 years was too much to bear”.

It has been revealed that Irma and her husband were high school sweethearts who were loved by many.

Irma Garcia had been a teacher for at least 23 years, according to her school biography page. It was her fifth year co-teaching with Mireless according to the website.
