Fred Benson Stranger Things: How does stranger things season 4 end?

The next person who dies in Stranger Things 4 is Nancy’s high school paper colleague, Fred Benson. The nerdy guy who clearly harbours an unrequited crush on Nancy goes with her to investigate Chrissy’s death and there, he walks into his own death.

For the rest of the episode, Fred is unable to comfortably investigate the trailer park where Chrissy was murdered. While he does canvas just like Nancy, it’s with an awareness that something wasn’t right and that awareness grows unto he wanders off into the woods on his own.

By the time Vecna snatches Fred’s mind, he’s physically pushed the teen to a road and placed him before a burning car. Just like Chrissy, Fred raises in the air, his eyes were taken from him and his bones are snapped, and h;s unceremoniously dropped onto the tarmac and left to be found.
