Raymond Allen Liotta was an American actor and producer. He was known for playing Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams (1989), Henry Hill in Goodfellas (1990), and Tommy Vercetti in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002).

Liotta died in his sleep on May 26, 2022, at the age of 67 in the Dominican Republic, during the filming of the new movie Dangerous Waters. At the time of his death, he was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.

In the wake of his sudden death at 67, many of the actor’s costars, collaborators, friends, and fans are paying their respects. “God is a Goodfella, and so is Ray,” Joe Pesci said Thursday in a statement to EW.
He was 67. Liotta died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming the movie “Dangerous Waters,” according to his publicist, Jennifer Allen.
No foul play is suspected, said Allen, who said Liotta’s fiancée, Jacy Nittolo, was with him on the island.
