Did Nick Kerr play in the NBA?

Nick Kerr is the first son of American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Steve Kerr.

Nick’s dad Steve is an eight-time NBA champion, and won five titles as a player (three with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs) as well as three with the Warriors as a head coach.

Nick’s dad also held the NBA record for the highest three-point percentage in a season at 52.4% until the record was broken by Kyle Korver in 2010.

Nick played college basketball at the University of San Diego from 2012-2015.

Nick saw action in six games for the Toreros in 2014-15 and contributed 1.5 ppg.

Nick played in 20 games as a sophomore in 2013-14 and chipped in a career-high 12 points in a win at Pacific when he sank 4-of-6 three-pointers.

Nick redshirted in 2012-13 after a freshman year in which he appeared in 13 games and had a high of eight points in 11 minutes at UC Irvine.

Nick was selected to the NABC Honors Court, the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the 2013-14 West Coast Conference All-Academic team.

Nick went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, making him an unrestricted free agent.
