Is Al Horford Married?

Al Horford, an NBA champion who plays for the Boston Celtics, is legally married to former Miss Universe, Amelia Vega.

Amelia and Horford tied the knots in 2011, in Santo Domingo and together they have four children – three daughters and a son.

Amelia was the Miss Dominican Republic in 2002 and won the crown as Miss Universe the following year. She was 18 at the time and the youngest winner ever since 1994.

The ex-beauty queen doubles as a model, and an actress. She has also authored a couple of books and has tried her hands in the music industry.

Amelia has starred in the movies Homie Spumoni (2006) and The Lost City (2005).

On the music scene, Amelia released her first single “Pasa Un Segundito” on iTunes in 2010.

The song ranked top on the Latin music billboard in just two days of its release.

In 2011, she released her album “Agua Dulce” and from there, her music traveled across Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
