It is not yet confirmed whether Thor: Love and Thunder will be Chris Hemsworth’s final Marvel Cinematic Universe film, but there’s reason to believe it might be.

This is because, the first trailer for Love and Thunder focuses a lot on Thor’s newfound desire to retire and put his superhero days behind him.
Again, the film’s teaser trailer hinted that Thor will go on a journey of self-discovery and that he’s officially retiring from being a superhero.

Thor: Love and Thunder also stars Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.
It was directed by Taika Waititi and will hit the theaters on July 8, 2022.
In the movie, Thor attempts to find inner peace.
And to achieve that, he must return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster, who has become the Mighty Thor, to stop Gorr the god Butcher from eliminating all gods.
