Cora Jakes Coleman is the eldest daughter of American author and bishop of The Potter’s House, Bishop T.D Jakes.

Cora is an Associate Pastor at the Potter’s House ministry and oversees the Destiny House Children’s Ministry of The Potter’s House of Dallas, an arm of the ministry with over 30,000 members and over 50 evangelical ministries.
Cora is a well sought-after speaker and writer, with a passion to heal and hurting people.
She launched her blog, “Fertility Faith,” at the age of 24 after she was diagnosed with infertility.
The blog is a channel through which she offers advice and support to young women battling infertility.

In January 2022, Cora announced her divorce from her husband Richard Brandon Coleman, after 11 years of marriage. The reason for their divorce was not stated.
She had met Richard at a time when she was struggling with broken relationships.
The couple had tied the knots on June 4, 2011, in a private ceremony at the Jakes family home.
They had two adopted children, Amauri, 13, and Jason, 7.
Richard Coleman, who is a gospel stage rapper, had in 2018, survived a kidney failure.
