Cora Jakes Coleman and her ex-husband, Richard Coleman had two adopted children, Amauri Noelle Coleman, 14, and Jason Coleman, 8.

Cora and Richard got married on June 4, 2011, in a private ceremony at the Jakes family home.
The couple had made the decision to adopt following Cora’s diagnosis of infertility at an early age of 22.
The situation inspired her to set up a blog – “Fertility Faith” – a channel through which she offers advice and support to young women battling with infertility.
Cora and her family lived happily until she divorced her husband in January 2022.

Cora is an Associate pastor at the Potter’s House ministry, and oversees the Destiny House Children’s Ministry of The Potter’s House of Dallas, an arm of the ministry with over 30,000 members and over 50 evangelical ministries.
She is a well sought after speaker and writer, with a passion to heal hurting people.
Richard is a famous rapper in Dallas, a.k.a “Skii Ventura” and popular for the hit songs Don’t Run From Me, Money & Power, and Corpus, all of which are available on top online streaming platforms.
