Reid competed in independent leagues such as Big Time and Northeast Wrestling, as well as All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Reid was discovered in bed at a Residence Inn in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 29, 2013. He was only 25 years old when he died. His postmortem report would reveal residues of alprazolam and clonazepam in his system a few weeks later, on June 14. According to reports, these two tranquillizers contributed to his death.
