Jason Lawrence Geiger, professionally known as Austin St. John was born on  September 17, 1974, in Roswell, New Mexico, United States. His parents are Steve Geiger St. John and Sharon St. John.

Austin St. John’s father is a U.S. Marine and martial artist. He was raised alongside one sibling, a brother named Stephen. He schooled at Robert Frost Middle School and W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, Vancouver.

Austin St. John also attended  Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California. He received his undergraduate degree from Concordia University. He got his first acting role as teen superhero Jason Lee Scott, the Red Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers which is the first instalment of the Power Rangers franchise.

Austin St. John has also appeared in Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, Monsters At Large and A Walk with Grace.
