Alison Stewart is a journalist and author from the United States. Stewart first rose to prominence in the 1990s as a political journalist for MTV News. She was born on born July 4, 1966. She is 66 years old.

Stewart got a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American literature from Brown University. She began her career in broadcasting as the music director for WBRU, the school’s radio station.

Stewart began her career at MTV as an assistant in 1988. When MTV News Director Linda Corradina hired her as a segment producer in 1991, she was thrilled. During MTV’s inaugural “Choose or Lose” campaign, which covered the 1992 presidential election, she began reporting and producing. Her reporting won her a Peabody Award.

Stewart stayed with MTV for the whole of the 1990s, contributing parts to programmes such as Megadose and MTV News: Unfiltered. She also presented specials, such as the 1995 Real World Reunion.

Stewart joined the WNYC lineup in September 2018, delivering a lunchtime show called All of It with Alison Stewart. She hosts the Get Lit With All Of It book club live event series.
