Mpho Moerane Cause Of Death: How Did Mpho Moerane Die?

Former Mayor of Johannesburg, Mpho Moerane, passed away on May 18, 2022, after a ghastly motor accident.

The family spokesperson, Mike Maile had issued a statement:

”He sadly did not respond positively to treatment and with heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we confirm that we lost our beloved Mpho this afternoon. His passing has deeply pained us; let me add that he was certified dead at 5:54 pm”.

How Did Mpho Moerane Die?

Moerane had been driving along Bowling Avenue, on his way to go back home in Bryanston, when his car hit a rock.

He was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma for days until he passed on.

Born in Alexandra township. Moerane started his career as an electrician at Eskom before he ventured into the policy and business sector.

Moerane had served on several boards as an executive, including Metro Bus, Alexandra Clinic, and Chancellor House Holdings.

Moerane is survived by his wife, Fikile, and their four children.
