Sherin Celine Mathew Cause Of Death

Sherin Celine Mathew, a 27-year-old transgender actress and model was discovered dead. She was discovered hanging in a cabin in Chakkaraparambu at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17.

Sherin, an Alappuzha native, had lived in the city for almost five years. Sherin was active on social media, where she frequently shared her reels and videos.

Police believe it was a suicide and have filed an unusual death report. People close to Sherin, according to authorities, stated she had been depressed for a few days.

In connection with the event, police are collecting testimony from Sherin’s close friends. After the inquest processes are completed, the body will be sent to Kalamassery Medical College.

Sherin had appeared in a few Malayalam films in minor roles and was a model. This is the fifth suicide attempt by a transgender person in Kochi in the last year.
