How did Joshua Hudnall die?

Joshua, who was 27 years old at the time, was discovered dead in his truck in August of 2018. He died of liver failure while residing in Florida.

Joshua died before his story – Evil Lives Here episode Let Her Rot could be aired on television. Hudnall’s mother and sister murdered his 54-year-old father, William Arnold Hudnall, for money in 2011.

In the heartbreaking story told on Investigation Discovery, Joshua was serving in the US military when his mother, Stephanie Hudnall, and sister, Guenevere Hudnall, plotted to murder his father so that they could obtain government benefits.

Stephanie drove her daughter, Guenevere, to her estranged husband, William Arnold Hudnall’s house in Hawthorne, Florida, on June 9, 2011.

Guenevere took a pickax and struck her father in the head and chest till he died when he fell asleep. Stephanie and Guenevere were arrested, found guilty, and convicted of second-degree murder and second-degree murder conspiracy.
