Zionist police attacked the burial procession of Al-Jazeera TV reporter Shireen Abu Aqleh on Friday, May 13.

According to WAFA, Zionist police closed off Saint Joseph Hospital, where Shireen Abu Aqleh’s body is being held, placing barricades at the hospital’s gates and along the roads where the funeral procession passes, preventing Palestinian vehicles and pedestrians from passing.
The highly armed occupation forces then rushed the hospital, attacking hundreds of mourners who were waving Palestinian flags and yelling anti-occupation slogans.

Shireen Abu Aqleh’s coffin was finally taken to the Old City, where she was given a mass before being buried in a local cemetery.
Shireen Abu Aqleh, a Palestinian journalist, was killed in cold blood by Zionist occupation army fire while covering riots in the Jenin area, according to Wafa. During the execution of her task, she wore a bulletproof vest labelled “Press.”
Shireen Abu Aqleh’s assassination continues to elicit widespread Palestinian, Arab, and worldwide condemnation.
