What Happened To Married… With Children?

The American sitcom “Married…With Children was cancelled because of a consistent decline in ratings and increasing cost of production.

The lead actor, Ed O’Neill, who played Al Bundy, received more than $500,000 per episode, making him one of the highest-paid performers at the time.

Salaries for other cast members such as the Bundy clan of Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino, also skyrocketed, increasing expenses as well as the Fox broadcast fee.

The sitcom never had a series finale.

In 2016, an Armenian remake of the sitcom was made. It was titled The Azizyans.

The Azizyans premiered on Armenia TV but the series was not available to the public until Armenia TV started airing the sitcom from October 10, 2017.

Starring Hayk Marutyan who plays the character of Garnik Azizyan – a clothes store seller, and only one working in the family. Azizyan has got a lazy wife just like Al in the original series.
