Does Anyone Die In Moana?

Moana’s supportive grandmother, who had always encouraged her from the beginning, died.

She fell ill and died just when Moana discovered that her destiny is to restore the heart of Te Fiti.

Moana parents remain alive and well, although skeptical about btheir daughter’s destiny.

They had tried so hard to make Moana believe that humans are not supposed to reach Lalotai, the Realm of Monsters. But Moana eventually did.

Other Deaths In Moana

Also in Moana, Chief Tui’s Friend and three unnamed Warriors, drowned in a hurricane.

Ten Kakamora were fung off a wire into the ocean by Maui and drowned; while four other Kakamora slipped off a rope and drowned in the ocean.

After these, several Kakamoras died, most of them by drowning, others were killed by Maui and Moana.

There was a fish Monster that was swallowed by a tree monster; and Te-Ka disintegrated when Moana returned Te-Fiti’s heart, liberating Te-Fiti from the curse.
