Legacies is an American fantasy drama television series, created by Julie Plec, that premiered on the CW on October 25, 2018. It is a spin-off of The Originals and features characters from both that series and its predecessor.

The network has cancelled the show. This news comes after DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman were cancelled after seasons 7 & 3 respectively, at the end of April.

Legacies Season 5 has been cancelled after a four-season run. The CW cancelled The Originals spinoff from Julie Plec (The Vampires Diaries), The Warner Bros and CBS Studios, after four seasons.
Will there be a Legacies spin off?
On May 11, 2018, it was announced that the spinoff, title legacies, had been ordered to series for the 2018-19 US television season. In June of the same year, it was announced that the series will premiere in October 2018
