Shahana Model Death: Kozhikode model Shahana found dead, Husband arrested

Shahana, a fashion model and part-time actress, was discovered dead on Friday, May 13 under strange circumstances. Shahana was discovered hanging from the window railing at her home in Parambil Bazar

Shahana’s husband, Sajjad, claimed she committed suicide, although her relatives claimed he harassed her regularly over money and other matters.

Shahana’s mother, however, said in a statement, “My daughter would never die by suicide, she was killed.” She would weep all the time and complain that they were abusing her. He was known for getting drunk and causing havoc. His parents and sister were torturing her as well, so I advised that they split up and live in different houses. My daughter continued to tell me that he was misbehaving with her and wanted money.

The gold sovereigns that we had given had been spent. “On her birthday, she had wished to meet us,” Sahana’s mother informed the press. According to Mathrubhumi, Sajjad would not allow Sahana to see her family or invite them to the house.

Shahana’s husband Sajjad has been taken into custody pending investigations.
