Canadian tennis champion, Bianca Andreescu, wears something like a hair band over her right elbow, presumably as a ‘good luck charm’.

It was in Auckland, where Bianca began wearing a twisting, plastic hair band around the bicep on her serving arm.

She had gotten some in the build up to 2019 and the embellishment has remained.

When asked about her trend, she said:

“I like to be different. I have never worn these hair ties before, but during preseason I bought a couple, and I was just wearing it around my wrist. And then I was noticing that when I was hitting forehands it kept flying off, so I just put it up there, and it looked decent, so I just kept it”.
