No. Imee Marcos is not adopted. However, her sister Aimee Marcos a musician and public figure who is known as the drummer of indie music band The Dorques was adopted.

Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios “Imee” Romualdez Marcos has been a Senator of the Philippines since 2019. She is the daughter of Ferdinand Marcos, the late president, dictator, and kleptocrat, and Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines.

She previously served as governor of Ilocos Norte from 2010 to 2019 and as a member of the 2nd district of Ilocos Norte from 1998 to 2007. Imee Marcos began her political career while her father was under martial law.

Imee turned 18 just fourteen months after her father declared martial law, and was already 30 years old when her family was deposed from power in the 1986 People Power revolution, after which they were helped to flee and brought to Honolulu by the US government.

After the death of her father, in 1989, Corazon Aquino allowed the Marcoses to return to the Philippines in 1991. Imee soon ran for political office and won three terms in the House of Representatives and three terms as governor of Ilocos Norte.
