Mass Pike was closed due to an accident that happened on May 6. One woman was killed on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham early Friday, May 6 morning when her car collided with a tractor-trailer.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the accident happened around 2:43 a.m. on May 6 in the westbound lanes of Framingham.
A Mini Cooper driven by a 29-year-old Worcester woman collided with the trailer being pulled by the truck. The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, died at the scene. According to the state police

According to preliminary investigation, the woman driving the car was speeding before the collision. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident, which resulted in lane closures on the highway until around 7 a.m.
