The date for the burial and funeral service of Grammy award winning singer, Naomi Judd, has been set for Monday, May 9, 2022, according to her bereaved family.

The funeral of Judd will also be broadcast live on a number of television channels.
Judd committed suicide near Nashville, Tennessee on April 30, 2022, and passed away at age 76.
Judd developed depression, panic attacks, and suicidal thoughts after her last music tour.
She was given a variety of medications, including lithium. Alopecia and edema were among the drugs’ side effects.

The singer has a long history as one of the best country singers of all time, winning numerous Grammy awards.
She and her daughter Wynonna formed the country music duo the Judds in the year 1983. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Together with the help of her daughter Wynonna Judd, Naomi formed the extremely successful duo of singers called the Judds.
Judd is survived by her daughters Wynonna and Ashley Judd, as well as her husband of three decades, Larry Strickland.
