Kenny Rogers,  an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer died on March 20, 2020, Rogers, at age 81, died while under hospice care at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He died of natural causes.

Kenny Rogers previously battled bladder cancer. He retired from the public eye in 2018 due to the same disease.

The name “Kenny Rogers” is well-known not only in country music but also in popular music in general. He was the man behind some of the biggest hits of the 1970s and 1980s, and his songs have become a part of our everyday lives. In 2013, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Rogers’ albums The Gambler and Kenny were named among the “200 Most Influential Country Albums Ever” by About.com. In a 1986 joint poll of readers of USA Today and People, he was voted “Favorite Singer of All Time.” In 2003, he received numerous awards, including the AMAs, Grammys, ACMs, and CMAs, as well as a lifetime achievement award for a six-decade career.
