American singer, Naomi Judd passed on at age 76. According to reports she died on April 30, 2022.

Ashley Judd announced her death, saying she died of mental illness, however, latest reports have confirmed that Naomi Judd died by suicide.

In 2016, Naomi Judd opened up about mental illness during an appearance on Good Morning America, saying she has been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety.

The singer mentioned at the time that she would not leave the house for three weeks, not get out of her pyjamas and also not practice hygiene.

Why did Naomi Judd take her own life?

Naomi Judd has been battling this “mentall illness” for some time.

At the age of 3, Judd was sexually molested at the hands of a family member, which impacted her mental health for decades without treatment. But once Judd came to terms with what happened, she started therapy.

It has not been confirmed why she took her own life.
