Dani Daraiche is a French Canadian vocalist from Gaspe region. She is the daughter of Julie Darachie, niece of Pail Daraiche, cousin of Katia Daraiche, Emilie and Dan Daraiche. She released her first album when she was 18 years.

Julie has released 50 albums in a 50-year career and sold over one million records. In 1979, she received the first Felix Award for best country album. It was announced that she died at age 84 due to natural occurrences.
