George Jacob Jung, also known as Boston George and El Americano, was a drug trafficker and smuggler from the United States who was a major figure in the cocaine trade in the 1970s and early 1980s. Jung and his partner Carlos Lehder smuggled cocaine into the United States for the Medelln Cartel in Colombia.

George Jung’s net worth was minimal at the time of his death, but at the height of his drug-running career, he was worth as much as $100 million.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Jung was best known for developing a massive drug-running operation. As a drug smuggler, he was quite successful. He was earning up to $30 million per month at his peak.

While it’s unclear whether Kristina Sunshine Jung ever visited her father in prison, photos show that the two reconnected after he was released. George and Kristina appear to have reconciled their relationship and were able to spend some quality time together before his death.
According to TMZ, George Jung died in a hospice in his hometown of Weymouth, Massachusetts, after suffering from kidney and liver failure.
