Struggling Emma Raducanu has split from her coach Torben Beltz and is now looking for her fourth coach in a year.

Emma Raducanu and Torben Beltz parted ways after working together for just five months.

While there had been rumours in the game that Torben Beltz was set to be axed by Raducanu, the timing is quite surprising.

This is because just last week, Emma Raducanu reached the quarter finals of the Stuttgart WTA event in which she put up an excellent showing against dominant world No 1 Iga Swiatek.

Emma Raducanu thanked coach Torben Beltz for the service he rendered to her.

Emma Raducanu said;

‘I want to thank Torben for his dedication,’

‘He has a huge heart and I have enjoyed our strong chemistry during the time together.’

‘I feel the best direction for my development is to transition to a new training model with the LTA supporting in the interim.’

But Torben Beltz’s sack follows a ‘sack pattern’ by Emma Raducanu;

Nigel Sears was disposed of after her fourth round showing at Wimbledon and, most surprising of all, Andrew Richardson was shown the exit door after he helped her win the US Open.
