Susan Jacks, a Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer, died at the age of 73 after a long struggle with kidney disease.

Susan was taken to a Surrey Memorial Hospital and stayed for several weeks due to kidney problems. In a previous Facebook post, her son Thad Dushinski said that she is struggling for her life due to renal problems and has been on ventilator support.

In 2016, the artist was admitted to the hospital owing to life-threatening kidney ailments. She recovered completely and went back into the studio in 2018 to record a new album.
Susan began her professional career when she was invited to be a regular performer in Music Hop, a national Canadian television series when she was 15 years old.
