Austin Dillon and Whitney Ward got engaged on August 9, 2016 and eventually got married after a year, on December 9, 2017, at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina.
Whitney Ward wasn’t exactly a celebrity before she met Austin, but she was on stage constantly.
Prior to becoming a “Racing Wife,” Whitney Ward worked as a cheerleader for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
For education, Whitney Ward graduated from the University of Tennessee with a major in communications and a minor in marketing.
Whitney Ward was also captain of her team during her senior year.

Whitney Ward was also one out of seven that were chosen that year (2012), and she was also the first ever Titans cheerleader from Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Whitney Ward’s husband Austin Dillon is an American professional stock car racing driver.
Austin Dillon competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing as well as part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports.
Austin Dillon is the grandson of RCR team owner Richard Childress, the older brother of Ty Dillon, another racing driver who also competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the son Mike Dillon, a former racing driver who currently works as RCR’s general manager.
Austin Dillon holds the record for most consecutive poles in the Nationwide (now Xfinity) Series with four.
