Guy Lafleur was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was the first in National Hockey League history to score 50 goals in six consecutive seasons as well as 50 goals and 100 points in six consecutive seasons.

Between 1971 and 1991, Lafleur played right wing for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Quebec Nordiques in an NHL career spanning 17 seasons and five Stanley Cup championships in 1973, 1976, 1977,1987, and 1979.

Guy Lafleur won five Stanly Cups with Montreal, the team that drafted him first overall in 1971.
He also won the Art Ross Trophy as the leading scorer in NHL three times, the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player in the NHL twice, and Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 1977.
Is Guy Lafleur in the Hall of Fame?
Following his induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988, Lafleur returned to the NHL with the Rangers that fall at the age of 37.
He became just the second player to continue his active career following his induction into the Hall of Fame after Gordie Howe (followed later by Mario Lemieux).
