The cast and crew began production on season 2 in the fall of 2021.
To say that I am elated would be an understatement,” Kaley Cuoco, who serves as star and executive producer of the show, said in a statement at the time.
“The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success.”

Cuoco confirmed that Cassie will be sober following her heavy drinking scenes last season.

“She definitely going to be trying to live a sober life while still trying to be who she was,” the 8 Simple Rules alum said. “And I think that’s what she’s going to struggle with the most. ‘Am I the same person I was before? Or are people going to like me? Am I still fun?’”
Cuoco previously expressed her desire to shoot the series in Los Angeles, where she lives. She later confirmed the change of location, explaining that season 2 picks up with Cassie moving to L.A. amid her first year of sobriety.
The Flight Attendant is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian. It was optioned by Cuoco’s own production company, Norman Productions, in 2017 prior to the book’s publication.
The movie is about a flight attendant’s life that gets turned upside down after she wakes up in a hotel room with a dead man but with no memory of what happened.
