Martin Gittings,  a former footballer who played for the Stevenage Football Club has passed away.

Martin Gittings scored a record 217 goals for Stevenage Borough across four spells at the Club from 1981 to 1994.

Martin Gittings  was not only notable for his excellent football skills but also served as a source of an inspiration for the younger generation.

Martin Gittings’ death has hit his fans very hard and they are currently mourning one of the most respected and liked players.
