Jamal Khashoggi Death: What Happened To Jamal Khashoggi?

Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident, writer, columnist for The Washington Post, former editor of Al-Watan, and former general manager and editor-in-chief of Al-Arab News Channel, was killed by the Saudi government agents at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 2, 2018.

A 15-member Saudi assassination squad ambushed, choked, and dismembered Khashoggi after luring him to the consulate building under the guise of supplying him with papers for his planned wedding.

The final moments of Khashoggi’s life were captured on audio recordings, the transcripts of which were later made public. According to the Turkish investigation, Khashoggi was strangled as soon as he entered the consulate building, and his body was dismembered and disposed of.
