Todd Kochutin, the star of Deadliest Catch, tragically died in February of last year after suffering catastrophic injuries onboard the Patricia Lee. He was one of the show’s most popular fishermen, thus the news came as a major surprise to his fans and followers.

His fellow fishermen and crew were all deeply upset and horrified to learn of his untimely passing. Following his death, Twitter and social media were flooded with tributes to the fisherman, as well as expressions of affection from friends, family, and fans.

Todd was born in Alaska, US, to parents Robert Olson and Deanna Kockutin. His greatest interest in life is the ocean, particularly fishing. He has always been a confident and brave fisherman, which contributes to his success.
His parents stated that when he was younger, he also enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, playing the guitar, and fishing. After years of fishing on his own, he ended himself on Deadliest Catch. On and off-camera, he is also known for his pleasant and amusing demeanour.
