Stefan Sylvestre, the man who attacked Katie Piper with acid, got married to Danielle Burke, in December 2017.

Burke had once declared to friends and family that she did not care about his criminal past.

The attack on Katie occurred in 2008 on the orders of her ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch.

Following the horrific incident Katie had to wear a mask and needed 40 operations

Sylvestre carried out the attack on the orders of Katie’s obsessive ex-boyfriend, Lynch, who co-ordinated the pre-planned street assault outside her north.

Stefan Sylvestre Sentence
Stefan, 32, was sentenced to a minimum of six years in 2009 over the horrific assault and is now set for release.

Stefan has now been cleared for release from jail.

Lynch gave her details to Stefan Sylvestre, who identified her on Golders Green Road.

Wearing a hoodie to obscure his identity, Sylvestre approached Piper, who thought he was going to ask for money, and then threw sulphuric acid at her face.

The attack was caught on CCTV, and both Lynch and Sylvestre were later arrested.
