Fan Controlled Football (FCF) is a professional indoor football league created in 2017 as the first sports league to be run entirely by fans. All games are played in Atlanta’s Pullman Yards and are aired on Twitch, NBCLX, DAZN, FuboTV, and Peacock.

It was created by Project Franchise, which also created the first fan-controlled professional sports franchise, the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, and operated the Colorado Crush in the Indoor Football League before pulling both teams out of the league in 2017.

Players are paid a weekly minimum of $400 plus room and board, while coaches are paid a monthly salary of $3,500 plus accommodation and a meal plan.
The startup football league allows fans to vote in real-time for plays that coaches will call on the field during games. Fan selections will also be used to establish player rosters. During the preseason, fans will also have the opportunity to vote on team branding selections such as name, logo, and jersey design.
In March 2021, FCF CEO Sohrob Farudi announced that the league planned to play two seasons a year, one in the spring and one in the fall, and that it planned to expand to 20 teams by year five.
