Elon Musk does not own Twitter. Elon Musk has however made an offer to Buy Twitter for $43 Billion.

According to reports, Elon Musk rejected an offer to be a part of the Twitter Inc board of directors. Last Tuesday, April 5, Elon Musk filed documents showing he had spent $2.8 billion to take a 9 & stake in Twitter.

Musk will serve as a Class II director, according to an SEC filing, and his tenure at the company will end in 2024. Musk will be limited to owning no more than 14.9 $ of the company’s common shares throughout his stay.

Tesla’s CEO is a well-known user and critic of the platform, using it to influence markets, debate with politicians, make forecasts, and promote his businesses. He’s also chastised it for failing to preserve the freedom of expression.
