Many banks, including Wells Fargo and Bank of America, don’t recognize Easter as bank-wide holidays. But many branches are often closed on Sundays.

Wells Fargo’s website states that it will remain open from 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Hence, the working hours in most locations in America on Good Friday, April 15, will remain unchanged.

It is important to note that 10 of the 50 states do recognise Good Friday as a public holiday. These are Connecticut, Kentucky, Louisiana, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, New Jersey, North Dakota, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Easter is one of the few holidays when Wells Fargo will remain closed.

The other holidays when the bank will not be open are Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day.

Hence, working hours might be altered for branches in these states. It’s best to call your branch to see if they’re open before you head out for a visit on Friday.
