Elon Musk is currently Twitter’s biggest shareholder as he recently bought over 73 million shares (9.2 % stake) worth approximately $3 billion

The company’s second-biggest shareholder, as per CNN, is The Vanguard Group Inc. which owns an 8.39 % stake worth over $2.5 billion whereas the third is Morgan Stanley owning an 8.08 % stake worth $2.5 billion.
BlackRock Fund Advisors (4.56 %) and SSgA Funds Management are among the other shareholders (4.54 %). Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who owns 2.3 % of the company, is also among the company’s top stakeholders.

The social media site presently has a market capitalization of $37 billion, and its value has risen sharply since Musk’s takeover intentions were revealed.
Twitter’s stock price, on the other hand, finished at $45.85, a 35 % increase, while it was trading at $51.35 in pre-market trading on April 14, a 12 % increase. Musk’s offer is for $54.20 per share, which is a 54 $ premium over the closing price on January 28 and a 38 $ premium over the closing price on April 1.
