Protest At Timberwolves Game

On Tuesday, the Timberwolves and Clippers battled it out in the first half of the league’s second play-in game. However, on the other side of the court, a strange sight was unfolding when Clippers centre Ivica Zubac made a free throw.

Referees paused the game after Zubac’s free shot when a protestor attempted to stick herself to the court inside the Target Center.

According to the NBA on TNT broadcast, the protestor, a woman, attempted to protest by glueing her wrist to the floor. She fought being removed from the courtroom. Officials, on the other hand, were able to remove her from the court with ease.

The woman was reportedly protesting Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor’s farm, which had to kill chickens due to a bird flu outbreak, according to TNT’s Allie LaForce.

The winner of the clash between Minnesota and Los Angeles will earn the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and will face the Grizzlies in the first round.
