Jaden Smith’s film debut was with his father Will Smith in the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness, and he again appeared with his father in the 2013 film After Earth.
Jaden Smith also starred in the remake films The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and The Karate Kid (2010).
Beginning in November 2018, Jaden Smith claimed that rapper Tyler, the Creator is his boyfriend, an assertion his dad Will Smith was not impressed with.
Tyler, despite being openly bisexual, denied this claim and after the release of the song “NOIZE” on Erys in 2019, Tyler set the record straight, rapping that their relationship claims were sarcastic.

In 2020, Jaden Smith tweeted, “My boyfriend just won a Grammy,” as Tyler took to the stage for his win for the album IGOR though they could just have been joking.
